Please keep your pets on a leash when you arrive!
From Fairfax, Reston, and Fairfax County:
After you cross into WV, get immediately into the left turn lane (do not go down the long hill with the pretty view!) and turn left at the flashing light. This is the old Route 9, which is now called Route 115. This road winds along the mountain for about 1-3/4 mile.
Shortly after passing an Elementary School on your left you will see the sign “Mission Road Next Left.” Turn left onto Mission Road (about 1/4 mile after the sign) and go 7/10ths of a mile to our driveway on the left. Our house number 719 is beside the paved driveway. You cannot see the house from the road.
From Charlottesville and points south:
As you approach Berryville, look for the fairgrounds and a huge Catholic Church on the right. Use these as markers before your exit as it sneaks up on you. The Route 340 exit is approximately 1/4 mile past the fairgrounds. Take the exit and turn left onto Rt. 340 North.
Continue North approximately 12 miles toward Charles Town. The four-lane ends about 1/2 mile before the WV border and resumes again about 4–5 miles farther. Look for a sign identifying the Rt. 115 Charles Town exit. Take the exit and turn right onto Rt. 115 East (toward Leesburg) at the end of the ramp.
From here continue east about 4 miles, crossing the Shenandoah River and starting up the mountain. Near the peak, there will be a sign “Mission Road 1/4 mile.” Just as you come down the peak there are some tight “S” turns before the intersection for Mission Road. Turn right onto Mission Road and go 7/10ths mile to our driveway on the left. Our house number 719 is beside the paved driveway. You cannot see the house from the road.
From the Washington beltway (495):
Follow this road and continue on Route 340 west when the road splits. Once in WV, go toward Charles Town and look for the Route 340 South Berryville sign. Take this exit, go approximately 1 mile and exit at Route 115 Charles Town.
At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Rt. 115 East (toward Leesburg) at the end of the ramp. From here, continue toward Leesburg for about 4 miles, crossing the Shenandoah River and starting up the mountain.
Near the peak, there will be the sign “Mission Road 1/4 mile.” Turn right onto Mission Road and go 7/10ths mile to our driveway on the left. Our house number 719 is beside the paved driveway. You cannot see the house from the road.
